Ones that don's scrumch the ends of your toes or cause your nails to go black. What sort of foot type are you? What is a pronator or supinator? These are foot types and commonly referred to as flat feet or high arched. It is probably best to seek help either from a really good running shop if you recognise what foot type you are or else seek an evaulation from a physiotherapist who can video your running style, analyse your gait, go through it with you personally and then advise accordingly. If insoles (orthotics) are recommended these too can be discussed regarding relevance at the time of consult and an appropriate referral made. You can be assisted every step of the way. So what are the best trainers?? Those that allow you to "just keep on running"!

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 22:37:18 +0000 wd4tuk 5 at https://www.wirralsportsmedicine.com Collecting data for statistical analysis https://www.wirralsportsmedicine.com/blog/collecting-data-statistical-analysis Collecting data for statistical analysis
In collaboration with University of Brighton
wd4tuk Mon, 09/24/2012 - 01:44

We are collecting data that will be submitted to the University of Brighton and along with many more data sets will inform the efficacy of swift, exact intervention and that can only mean one thing....that you will be back competing in the shortest possible time frame.

As you possibly know I am Hon. Education and Research Officer of Physio First, the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice, and in collaboration with the University of Brighton am currently collecting data in support of the profession with regards to the way physiotherapists effectively treat Sports Injuries. It enables me to audit intervention and outcomes and it is so beneficial to perpetually look at the evidence base to underpin clinical application.

Sporting injuries frequently arise as a result of trauma/direct contact but there are those in which the wrong footwear plays a part or those where a training error leads to muscle failure. The data we are collecting will be submitted to the University and along with many more data sets will hopefully be able to support the efficacy of swift, exact intervention and that can only mean one thing....that you will be back competing in the shortest possible time frame.

If you need help then please do contact the clinic we will be very happy to help.

Sun, 23 Sep 2012 21:44:28 +0000 wd4tuk 6 at https://www.wirralsportsmedicine.com
